Anonymous said: I read your post about the Otakon show. At a con I staffed, Mr Yan was considering attending and doing a Bodyline show. His model requests were ABSURD-under 5'4, 100 lbs or less-and those were the only numbers he gave. He ended up not going but your post reminded me of that. Their body expectations are so unrealistic.
wow that’s even worse but not surprising coming from Mr Yan hahaha. I already saw a few posts on my fb newsfeed about girls wanting to lose weigth or feeling too fat for lolita after this fashion show thing it’s makes me so sad idk… It reminds me a little all those awkwards moments in fashion school like that time when I was drawing and my teacher said my drawing had to be thinier I felt so insulted oups but I know the standards are like that. and well also for the fashion show I’m pretty sure all the girls they choosed are either white or asian, but maybe I’m just complaining too much at this point.

"You should smile more!"
"You look tired!"
"Are you really going to eat all that?"
Is it that time of month?
"You’re just being dramatic"
"You have terrible taste"
"Just exercise and eat less!"
"Thats really slutty"
